the beauty system claims another victim

a 21 y.o. model from brazil, ana carolina reston died for anorexia in san paulo.
she was working for some of the most important model agencies, like ford, elite and equipe. at the moment of her decease, her weight was 88 for a 5,8 height.

Isn't it amazing what the world is coming to? These poor women starving themselves to meet an ideal that doesn't match with reality. It is so saddening.

I hope and pray that my daughter never feels that way about herself.
