This is a long story.
I have always loved the idea of a restaurant, probably it's in my dna: my grandfather was a maitre in luxury hotels aroud the world.
Anyway, along with my consulting career, I'm now working on the marketing for the restaurant.
Go there and have a look:

And if you are in Rome or plan to come to the eternal city, send a mail.....

I am so very, very happy for you. This is brilliant and the site and the location...wow! Very classy and yet "warm".
Enjoy this accomplishments and Bon Appetit! I cannot wait to dine there with you--I hope it can be very soon.
... and the company of good and dear friends. Congratulazioni, Gianandrea. I cannot wait to see it in person.
As long as you have plenty of cold Nastro Azzurro on tap waiting, I'll be there!
How I wish this would have happened last summer when I was in Rome. Now, you can bet that when I do return to Rome (and I will, God willing), I will be looking for Dune.
ck, being the first to comment to my post, you are my guest. hope it is soon.
valeria, being the second to comment to my post, you are my guest, too. again i hope it is soon.
tim, nastro azzurro is in the freezer: on the label, there is your name!! btw, you are my guest, too.
Don't forget to send me some photos and information that I can copy to my blog. It's sitting there waiting to help you market Dune. Way to go, Gianandrea.
MMmmmmm. I await great food, wine and company next time I'm in Roma (probably not for a while). But at least probably sooner than later, since I have relatives in Ostia Lido who I haven't seen in ages.
mario, as lewis said, there is always a good reason to come to rome.
i wait for you.
G I love the site and the music! You make it easy to read the restaurant's story, menu, location, everything is right there! I emailed you about this before, but I think a blog would work wonders for Dune, you could use it to not only focus on the restaurant itself, but also local attractions (I hear there are a few), and I think it could be an invaluable source of information for tourists. And when those tourists want to eat at an authentic Italian restuarant in Rome, guess where they would go?
If you ever start a blog, let me know and I'd love to on an entry on it for my Company Blog Checkup series.
And to echo everyone else, congratulations, and I wish you all the best!
mack, thanks for the insight. we are thinking to launch a blog, too, with information for travellers. i'll keep you posted on the development.
Looks fantastic G! I hope it is a GREAT success for you.
Oh and if you have a photo, I would love to put it on my blog!
